Hey Bam and Mike,
I fished Boone twice in the past year..after we all launch and get out to the "starting point" it is a series of 3 or 4 coves , some with heavy pads, other fairly open (especially the cove before the main lake, which is more like the size of a pond) ....then once in the main lake ..if you choose to go left...all the way across the lake, it will bring you to a more narrow area with houses on each side, and lots of docks and stuff. Along the way there are a few other coves you can hit before getting to the other side. Overall its a real nice lake.
I know its a pretty shitty description but ive only been 2x and going off memory. Not to sure about depths or anything since we rock a canoe without a depth finder. I know some guys fish here often so maybe they can help more. I believe this is the home lake of Chuck (landlord).
Anyways, thought i would do my best to help in case no one else did. hope it gives you somewhat of an idea of what to expect.
