Absolutely....if you know the river well. If this is your 1st, 2nd, 3rd 4th, 5th, (get the point!) trip, then I wouldn't advise it. Above the train bridge and especially as you approach the 1st 495 Bridge near Bill Deluca Chevrolet, is TREACHEROUS and unmarked. Take it slow, watch your depth finder, say a few prayers, and better yet......follow somebody who has done it before. By the way, the fishing is great whether going for Carp, smallies or stripers
