cRaZy pickerel tries to eat BIG spinnerbait LOL
the lure's as big as he is!
It was wicked windy out today - I went to Great Quitticas Pond about 2pm or so... the water was all roiled up and there were literally hundreds of BIG shad - like 6-8 inches long(!) teeming all over the rocky shoreline shallows... so I tied up a big 3/4oz spinnerbait with a large willow/colorado blade combination and a Zoom Super Fluke body instead of a skirt. I got this suicidal pickerel and a small largemouth, that I didn't get a picture of, and I also snagged one of those big shad in the side with a spoon.
Nothing too special, but a fun way to spend an hour or two.
