Just wanted to let everyone know about a neat feature that can easily be overlooked on the Map View page. There is a small link underneath the map called Map Permalink...Anytime you do anything to the map (pan, zoom, turn on different layers, etc) this link is automatically updated. What this link can be used for is to quickly show your friends, family or Fish Finder members an area of interest.
All you need to do is once you zoom to your area of interest, just Right-Click the Map Permalink with your mouse. From the menu select "Copy Shortcut".
Next, paste the link into any email message, IM, or even a message board post like this. When anyone clicks the link you send them, they will instantly be brought to the map page and zoomed exactly to your area.
Below is a link that I have copied from the Map of the Chatham area to show you what the link looks like when pasted:

Let me know if need any help with this functionality. As more people learn how to use it, it could become a quick and easy way to share spots on the message board.
