Leominster / Princeton / Westminster ponds

Hey guys,

I've been trying to scope out a few more spots to hit some hogs this summer and found a few potential spots up in the Leominster / Westminster / Princeton area.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the following spots, and if its worth it / accessible for shore fishing?

LEOMINSTER
Lake Samoset
Fall Brook Reservoir
Haynes Reservoir

WESTMINSTER
Paradise Pond
Rocky Pond
Wachusett Lake

PRINCETON
Mare Meadow

Paradise Pond is shallow and the water heats up fast during the summer. It also is filled with weeds. There are some nice bass in the pond. It's a nice place to fish. Go early because it's a popular place to fish.

I am pretty sure that Mare Meadow Pond is a resident only fishing spot.

If you are willing to drive farther West, try Tulley Lake, Tulley River and Long Pond and Lake Wampanoag. Both are good fishing and fun places to kayak.

Sterling has a place called West Wauschacum Pond that has bass and trout in it. It's a nice place to go too. Another go early spot.

West Waushacum is right near my house, about 6-7 minutes. We hit it a lot last year with the kids. Lots of panfish... never got a bass there though.

I guess I really need that kayak, don't I....
