Last year I started using shaky heads with a lot of luck, my set up was an owner 1/8oz head with a zoom shakyhead 5 inch worm greenpumpkin. I did have luck with this set up , but since the worms are salted they don't float and stand up like I want them too. I did try the Berkley shaky snake, this seems to stand up better. I cant find any worms that don't have salt in them any suggestions.?
Also what is the head style that everyone favorites.

not mix the zman plastic or any very stretchy plastic with your normal type plastic baits. they are different plastics and will melt

any worm labeled as finesse should work, those never get salted either

I never heard that so I googled finesse worm salt and found this right away

Compared to traditional soft plastic lures, Strike King®'s revolutionary Super Finesse Worms are softer, more flexible, have loads more action and are much more durable. Made out of a proprietary Elaztech material that offers a distinct floating advantage, Super Finesse Worms are salt-impregnated to add even more temptation.
The Strike King Super Finesse Worms are by far the best worms to use on a Shaky Head Jig!
