Things that make you go... Oh, S*!t!

Ok, so this isn't fresh water, but I thought folks here would get a kick out of this.

One thing that makes me go oh sh** is launching your boat and forgetting to put the plug back in.

One thing that makes me go "Oh ****!" is when I'm relling in something that feels hefty, the tension eases up slightly, and a fish screams into the air!

did that earlier this year. dropped the boat off the trailer, parked the truck taking my time, etc. finally got into the boat, went to the back to start the motor and.... OH S**T. forgot to put the plug in.

I saw on 'The Kayak Fishing Show" a guy actually caught a marlin from a kayak!

Just the thought of that would make me go OH S**T!

One thing that made me go OH S&^*! (the angry kind) was an angler mishap on the charter boat I worked for.

Story goes like this:

Working a tuna trip and we troll by a pod of dolphins and hook up to a slob of a Bluefin (500+) on 50 lb. standup (Good OH S&^*!).

However, during the fight the guy fighting the fish reaches over with his left hand to crank the handle with both hands. Before I could stop the guy, he hit the lever drag INTO FREE SPOOL!!!!! (OH F*&^%#& S&^*!). So I "intervened" and re-engaged the drag and wound like hell over the backlash to get tight again.

Long story short, fish ended up parting the line after two hour fight (WHAT THE F&^% !!!!!!!!!).
