Houghton's Pond

Howdy all,

Does any one know if there are any restrictions on where to fish at Houghton's Pond? I've never fished there but would like to give it a try this afternoon. I'll be targeting trout.

I know there is a beach there on one side. Does that mean I am restricted to fishing on the opposite side only? Do I have to be a certain distance from the beach?

Any help is greatly appreciated, fellas.

The only restriction I know of is no boats of any kind are allowed.

Check the parking lot signage too. They lock the gates in the Summer around 8:00.

It's a pressured pond, I've never caught anything big there (< 2 pounds).
