What are your favorite online sites for buying tackle? I hate trying to buy direct from one manufacturer, paying shipping, then going to another manufacturer site, paying more shipping. Basspro and cabelas are the obvious choices I suppose, any other places with reasonable prices?

Believe it or not, Amazon.com has a ton of stuff and it's priced pretty low too. I recently got an Abu Garcia Veritas 2.0 7'9" rod that will throw up to 3 oz baits for $69.99 - that's $30 lower than retail price. It's not as organized as the websites that only sell fishing gear, but if you enter what you want in the search box, it has produced pretty good for me so far.

I am addicted to Amazon Prime, and love using it for fishing gear but when looking for specific sizes/colors of lures it gets tough to find exactly what I want. It's usually one of the first places I check though!

Lots of other good replies, keep em coming. My bookmark list is growing rapidly!

Yup came to post this. For the most part I'll buy in bulk from tacklewarehouse, but for the lures they don't carry, are out of stock, or are priced competitively I'll go with amazon. The one catch on amazon is that a lot of the lesser selling lures are add on items which are the worst.

I would say tackle warehouse is the best , only thing their back order dates aren't even close ! Burned me a couple times waiting for back order tackle before going on out of state trips .

Tackle warehouse also doesn't charge you the extra shipping fee for ordering a 1 piece rod like Bass Pro does.

I like to use fishusa.com

They have hard to find lures and lure colors that I want.

Also their shipping is just as good as Amazon, Basspro or Cabelas.
