Have a few hours after work and wanted to go somewhere new (to me) on my way home with my scamp.

Freeman Lake/Newfield Pond or Forge Pond - what do you all recommend?!

I've heard of people doing good on freeman but if u saw my trip u would know that I got skunked shore fishing yesterday. I haven't tryed those other lakes though.

There is more grass and docks. Personally I like to fish the cheese this time of the year and Forge has a bunch. Freeman is a better lake for numbers but Forge is better for larger fish. I can usually get a fish right at the launch on Forge before I even put my boat in.
