Hi Folks,
Some time ago, I received a few replies about fishing Sudbury Reservoir for the first time. I printed out the suggestions, but cannot find them.
Sr. Citizen now, pushing 80, so will blame it on that.
Great excuse for most anything, I've found.
Anyway, I would like to try the Sudbury Reservoir on the "West" side.
One of my major requirements, now, is that there is a place to park, and the walk-in is minimal.
Oh, and a few fish (preferably the dumb ones)
Have heard about this "911 Field".
Is this a (good) place to try first ?
Or, somewhere down further where Rt. 30 crosses ?
Some spot on East side better ?
Did try the East side, pretty much all of it, a few years back, but
had poor results, so thought I might try the West side, for the first time, now.
Or,...?
Would appreciate any suggestions, and thoughts.
I usually fish Puffer Pond in Sudbury/Stow as it is so close to the house.
But something sure has changed this year.
Past years, you could always get "something," particularly on a small Mepps Spinner.
But this year, next to zilch.
Maybe a change in overall water temp., salinity, or...?
Really poor so far, this season.
Best regards,
Bob
