I was talking to another MAFF member today who found it super-annoying that many pictures posted show up sideways in the feed and whatnot. This annoyed the hell out of me, too, when I first joined, and I'm sure most of you dislike it.
Since the site doesn't auto-resize photos when they're uploaded, if you can resize it yourself before uploading you can avoid the sideways photo. Just change the largest side—height or width—to 800 pixels. As long as neither side exceeds 800 pixels it'll post normally.
