How slow so you guys fish when you really want to slow it down? For example, when I fish a weighted rubber worm, I'll cast and let it sink, count to 10, then slowly raise my tip to move it about 2 feet through the water, then pause for another 10 to 15 seconds. I'll do this maybe 5 times so I work it about 10 to 15 feet through the water. This means my lure is in the water for about a minute, maybe 2 minutes max.

I usually get hit in the first 30 seconds anyways or when it hits the water.

That seems about right. I have certainly fished senkos slow like that before.

It all depends on what they want that day. Sometimes pausing, sometimes not and sometimes just outright dead sticking!
