Got a lot of ideas from tin boats. Boat is a 1436, chose to not deck boat up to seat. It felt tippy standing on seat & this way the bench seat can be used by a third person. Also, might either move the battery under bench seat or put a livewell under it? Only thing I didn't like is that the 6hp johnson is not enough power for that boat but,it beats just having a electric trolling motor only!!

Same 30lb hand control minkota that was on my crawdad.
Was offered a 45lb foot control a couple months ago but money was tight.
Now that I got my tax returns, gonna look for a used foot control on c's list.
