I did the same thing with the regular Lew's tournament (not MG). Great deal, I'll end up paying $90 for a $150 reel. The reels were actually back-ordered, which could have technically interfered with the rebate, since they must be postmarked by a certain date. But TW informed me that the reel has shipped.
Anyway, feel your pain about not being able to use it! Although I'm still planning on taking it out before everything freezes over, just to take it for a quick spin. Enjoy!
