No bites - Westboro A1 Site

I went to the A1 site on Sunday Oct 12 and the best thing about the day was the weather - no bites for 4 hours of fishing. I always manage to catch something there. Not even a pickerel. we saw very few bait fish and only a very few fish that surfaced. was it the cold front that came in have that affected the fishing so much? it was like all the fish disappeared. was it like this at other locations in the area on Sunday? I would like to try again this weekend but not sure if the time put in will be worth it. any suggestions?

maybe the thousands of guys who fished there this year left you nothing. just kidding, its slow most places, but A-1 does get pounded.

Sunday was a really tough bite where I went too. Caught a few fish on crankbaits but the bigger fish came on a spinnerbait

thanks Shawn. I will try again this weekend. I may go to Lake Chauncy instead of A1. any other suggestions for baits?
