yes, and this is the best time of the year to fish it, till October should be a good bite. An hour before dark or morning is best. It is best right after it rains no matter how fast the water gets they will be there. It is shallow now do to some dredging further up along the park, it used to be much deeper. I have caught bass upwards to 7 lbs. pretty much Upper Mystic bass go there at one time or another, as I said above now is the time. As for baits, they will gobble up senkos for sure. Jigs and spinner baits work great as well. Its not pretty, but it can and does produce when you time it right. Good luck
