Had almost given up on my honey hole. Not that it had completely dried up but just wasn't producing like last yr. Last night just had an hr to fish so I said honey hole it is(5 min drive) Right away there were signs 2 night would be a good one. Water every where was boiling with baitfish rises.Haven't seen it like this since
last yr. 2 casts in a nice 3lber that jumped 3 times.Fooled me for a minute thought it was a giant smallie.Don't know what was in the water but the next 3 lber thought it was an acrobat also. Ended up with 2 3lbers and 5 smaller ones in an hrs work. They were crushing stick baits. Even had a couple chase it in on reel n swipe at it right next to me. Great eve. Hated to leave but had a fantasy football draft. Hahaha!
