Swapping Spools on Baitcasters

For my spinning reels, I have spare spools, so if I want to change line types (mono, braid, or fluro) I just swap spools (however, I find I leaving the braid spool on almost all the time.)

Can the same thing be done with baticasters, or is this just crazy talk?

I wouldn't want to do it...... could be why most guys that use baitcasters have multiple poles in the boat with each set up with different lines and lures. I wouldn't want to have to take a baitcaster apart on the water to swap a spool. That's just me.
