On to Dudley Pond in Wayland. We've had a bunch of double digit bags at this year's Tourneys. Who's going to get the next one? Post if you want in.

Payout: $120 first place, $60 second place, $40 third place, $20 lunker bass (assumes 12 participants)

They will go after your lure. I know a few other people have encountered them. Pretty sure no sane man would want to catch a cat. Haha.

As much as I would like to assure myself a win by being the only entrant, I'm going to make the call and cancel the Dudley tournament. Must have been the cats! We'll try it again in a few weeks with Quaboag.

That's a shame, Dudley's a nice yak pond too. Caught some good fish there last year.

Do you think more people would sign up if you posted the sign-up threads in the Bass Fishing forum? Seems that the forums closer to the top get the most traffic.

That's not a bad idea, though I think the issue has more to do with people's summer obligations. Every July tournament we've had over the past three years has been a struggle to get boats.
