Anyone been to Canton Res this year? Never fished there before and was hoping to get out there tomorrow but I hear it can be pretty tough depending on the weeds and water lvl.
Fished here a few times, but not recently. Actually caught a pretty nice bass, about 20", fishing with a night crawler and bobber right off the main road where the cement wall is. I here its a pretty fertile lake and have a buddy that swears by it.
Nighttime top waters kill it here. I've noticed that the bass don't really bite swimbaits here... They must have grown wise to them. Senkos still work though. Have caught a few nice ones here so far this year.
Super shallow though. I remember when the water used to be up to the wall!
