I've typed this post out atleast 3 times and the board seems to be eating it. I'm getting frustrated so short version:

Need suggestions for a 3rd rod and reel to go with
Team Daiwa S Crank/Spinner tds71mrb Medium Moderate with a curado 200g5
St Croix Triumph Medium Fast 6'6" that currently has a dicks quantom escalade hd (7.0 ratio) worms, cranks, jerks etc.... the "i dont have technique specific rod for that lure rod"

Will take any suggestions but I'm leaning towards a MH/H pitching stick to give me something to pitch with and possibly throw some bigger baits if I need to. I'm a big fan of jigs so....

I'm leaning towards a 13 fishing mh 7'6" or H 7'3". Any suggestions for budge 'performance' rods you guys have experience with would be great.

As for reels I'm lost. I dont have enough experience so reviews are only so helpful. My budget is 150-200 for the reel and I've been looking at pretty much anything. I feel like putting the new reel on the st croix and putting the escalde on the pitching rod will be my best bet? I'm still new to baitcasters but I feel like its the least reel intensive of the fishing I'll do and a 7.0 ratio will be good to get slack out fast? Lews, 13 fishing ('dat drag), shimano, abu garcia daiwa etc are all on the table. Left hand retrieve is a major plus, but not a deal breaker.

Get the heavy rod for jigs. You can throw lighter and heavier ones. And for your budget check out the new shimano curado. EBay.

Honestly, I am in love with my Lews super duty. It is available in a few different gear ratios including the 7:1 you are looking for. Solid, heavy duty reel. Casts a mile. It retails for $179, but I bought it from tackle trap and used the 10% off code and ended up paying $151 shipped to my door. Right in your price range. Its made specifically for braided line applications and heavier baits. I use it on my frog rod. The new Currado looks amazing also if you can get your hands on one, but they are currently on backorder. I have a number of different reels from different companies, and in my honest opinion, Lews makes the best reels for your $ in that price range.

As for the rod, I would recomend taking a look at Dobyns line of rods. I have just bought a few this year and I absolutely love them! They have a few different series of rods that vary in price range. This rod might be right in your ballpark. http://dobynsrods.com/rod/ss-735c/

If you wanna save some $ check out this site http://www.bbcboards.net/rods-4-sale/
People swap and sell used and new rods and reels and most of the people on here are real solid.

I've heard nothing but good things about lews and was leaning heavily towards one. I'll look into dobyns.

Check out the daiwa tatula. I just picked one up and I like it better than some other reels I've used that cost a lot more money
