The land around Atwood is a cranberry bog and is owned by Make Peace. They own property around several BOW in mass and you can purchase a yearly permit for $100 from them to gain access to these BOW. UNFORTUNATELY Atwood is NOT one of them at this time. You can call Make Peace to confirm but last year when I inquired about the permit and what BOW it included, Atwood was not one.

Atwood has great fishing, was there last maybe ~4 years ago. Water was very dark reddish stained.

However it is off-limits to public. Friend of mine worked at Edaville at the time.

I actually looked into that a couple weeks ago and stopped by the main office. The Make Peace yearly permit still has the atwood res as off limits and they have no intentions of making it fish-able legally.
Plus they want 150 $ a year to fish a couple good ponds with no hunting allowed anywhere. Not worth it at all especially considering all the quality b.o.w.'s you can fish in that area.

What body of water are included with the Makepeace membership? And is it only shore fishing?
