I'm heading up to Long Lake in Naples Maine next week and since I'll be bringing the boat I'm looking for some advice on catching lake trout.
Any advice is appreciated as I havent fished for them before. I have lead core setups and i'm planning on trolling to cover ground. Long Lake is 60 feet deep and known to hold lakers as it's connected to Sebago. The lake is approximately 8 miles long.
What type of lures should I use, how deep should I be trolling, how fast, anything and everything is welcome...
