Shore fishing near Lynn

Anyone know any decent places to fish near Lynn, I'm looking for places I can go for a few hours after work

I just went to the upper mystic lake and that is almost all open water. Not really near Lynn but it is available. I am going to be doing some more scouting the area here shortly.

Wow, what a difference a few days must make. When I drove by on Monday, it was about 75% iced over from the spillway/dam to the Winchester Boat Club side of the lake. From the narrow inlet towards the Aberjona River however was about 75% open. The lower Mystics from the spillway/dam to the river was about 50% open, which I'm sure has changed by now too. Good news for sure and thanks for the update!

Also not Lynn, Fished Jamacia Pond,Jamacia Plain Friday afternoon, 1st day out.
Caught 2 rainbow trout. They were small but it felt good to be fishing.
