To early for senkos?

Hey guys I've been fishing Jamaica pond for the past few weeks and I've been wondering is it to early to break out a pack of senkos to fish for LMB or would it be a waste of time?

when's the last time i threw a senko?

try both. at jp i've done better texas rigged in the clear water.

You can use a shaky head (non-lead, of course) w/the 4" model. That's worked for me on occasion.
