Just wanted to reach out and say hi. I have been a member of the ice shanty boards for a few years and just found this site so I signed up. I live in pembroke and was mostly a salt guy but past few years been fishing more and more open water for large mouth since I moved to a house with deeded rights to oldham.

Still about 6 inches of crusty white ice. Saw one guy out there today 3/15. A lot of cracks and small open water holes. I packed my ice gear and called it a great season.
