What have you guys been getting for temps in ponds and lakes recently? Has anyone seen bass on beds yet?

For the purposes of this thread, let's consider "eastern mass" anything inside the 495 corridor.

My buddy and I want to try our hand at carp. Looking for a good spot to start out. thanks

We fished there yesterday. Some spots were 4-5" but melting fast. Two rainbows.

Has anybody been out on Hopkinton or Ashland Res recently? Is the ice solid enough to fish? Is there any open water accessible from shore?

What locations in the eastern part of the state have produced trout through the ice for you consistently? Whitehall? Dug Pond? Walden? Houghton's?

Can you recommend some hot shore fishing in eastern ma around now?

My buddy and I got skunked a couple weeks back at Wachusett and we'd like to try again. I know the laker season is pretty much over but there's always smallies and the like.

Good info. Are the bass hungry or on a reaction bite? Are they up near the surface or hanging low?

My buddy and I have not been able to get anything. Not a nibble. He fishes the assabet river a lot, i tend towards the banks of ponds and lakes. We went to Wachusett and got skunked. Obviously ice fis ...
