The Southcoast Bass Anglers are hosting an OPEN tournament at Wequaquet on Sunday September 11, 2016.
We are hoping for a great turnout on this one. Please post here or on our Facebook page if you would like to save a spot.
Format:
Date: Sunday September 11, 2016
Time: 7:00AM - 3:00PM (In the water no later than 6:45AM Please)
Cost: $50 per boat single or double $10 Lunker fee is optional
Fish: 5 fish per boat (12 inch min)
No Pre-fishing 24 hours before the tourney date please.
Just a few items that have come to our attention. From here on out no angler can cull a DEAD fish. If one of your fish pass away you must bring it in at your weigh in. (Any angler caught culling a dead fish will be DQ'd). After the weigh in you are responsible for properly disposing the fish. Please do not toss the dead fish in an area where residents or children have access.
After 6 years of running this trail this is really the only item we needed to address. I understand that some organizations allow the culling of a dead fish but with our trail I do not think it's appropriate to leave dead fish floating in the pond during a tournament.
