Just wondering if you have to be a Topsfield resident to fish at Hood's Pond in Topsfield. It looks like there's a place to launch my canoe, but not sure if I want to take the trip if I'm going to be turned away. Anyone have experience with this place? Thanks.
I was there 2 years ago and it was public. I would have to look up the road name, but the launch is across the pond from the beach/swim area. It is only good for cartoppers, almost impossible for a trailered rig. Decent fishing, I've done better ice fishing than open water.
