Does anyone have any places that are still open but good fishing? Or POSSIBLY safe ice? Also, does anyone know how to figure out where they stock trout in a specific brook? or do I basically just have to walk around the brook? I was planning on going out tomorrow to fish for trout with a ice rod just because there is some thin ice that i could crack and manage to work around not being about to stand on it.
I live in Holbrook and checked couple local ponds yesterday, there was ice, I wouldn't consider it safe but I think it was thick enough to survive this rain(I hope). If next week's forecast is correct I think the ice should be good for next weekend, I'm planning my 1st trip for next Sunday.
