Just some ideas for another one after this. I think most of the guys are from the South Shore so they may be too far though. I'm in Peabody these are a few I hit sometimes.
Upper or Lower Mystic, should be full of juvenile herring now (Medford)
Quannapowett Wakefield
Spy Arlington
Charles River below Watertown dam
Charles River Waltham stretch
Heards Wayland
Becks Hamilton
Martins North Reading
Chebacco Hamilton
There's many more

We fished the Charles in Waltham last year. Unfortunately every time we've had a tournament not on the south shore, few show up. Despite the fact that many people have asked for tournaments in those areas. When the time comes, they just don't show up. It sucks.

I hear ya Ken. I'll travel in any direction. Anywhere within two hour drive. Just sometimes work or the wife get in the way.

Hopefully you will not run into the duck hunters! I have had run ins with them in the past over there. They set up on the side that separates the two ponds and will not budge. They wouldn't let me access stump side. Can't argue with a shotgun! Laughing
