I live pretty close by but have never fished it I know its huge and shallow but that's about it. How's the fishing/how should I fish it? Anyone pull out good bags from here?Heard there are a lot of hazards for a bass boat in there any heads up on unmarked shallows would be awesome.

One of the islands has a sandbar all the way across to shore, you can see it on google maps. Gets shallow quick on the first set of docks going right out of the ramp. Stay wide left or the islands. In my opinion go else where. Never see bags more than 13lbs really come out or there, and that is a GOOD bag, realistically your looking at 8-9 pound bag. Club tourney last weekend the winning bag was 11 and change that included a 4 pounder. They are in there but people don't find them too often.

Yup, what biggz said. Some 2lbers to be had but mostly smaller fish. I highly recommend Snipatuit (Rock hazards) or Tispaquin. Rochester and Middleborough respectively.

Check out Tispaquin in Middleboro.Thick weed in the north east cove.Rock pile south of that and weed beds in 6 to 8 feet of water. Some bigguns there. You may get a lot of rats but there are a lot of good fish there too.Fish the rocks, docks, brush, drop offs, pads and weeds.Good luck, not too big and strong west wind will be good to fish.Lots of grass on the west side.

sounds pretty sweet I'm gonna go there Sunday was gonna do mopo cuz its a mile from my house but I'd rather try something new. How is for a bass boat?

Tispaquin does not have an actual ramp. I have launched my boat there (17' Ranger) all year, except about a month ago. I could not get the boat off the trailer, and had to use 4 wheel drive to pull out because I had backed so far in. We just had a decent amount of rain, so you may be good to go. Also, Tispaquin is an oddball. Many times the fish are seemingly in the middle of nowhere away from cover (like Cape lakes).

Thanks for the heads up water levels should be back up most of the bogs are done flooding plus the rain but I'll check.it out. Hope the fish are shallow the temps in my pond in my backyard dropped 4 degrees from the rain and the fish are going nuts.

I went to Tispaquin yesterday. It's a no-go for launching a bass boat. Thought I'd give the heads up.

Yeah, Tispaquin is more of a kayak fishery right now.
