The 3600 tackle boxes I store my baits in get quite moist from the water on the baits from fishing. I've gotten rust on the hardware of a couple of them.

I've started setting them flat in the back of the car open so they can dry out after I fish.

I was thinking about putting some Flambeau Tackle Zerust Plastabs in them, or drilling some ventilation holes.

Has anyone else used these solutions? What are some other ways to prevent condensation in my boxes, and prevent rust?

I'm being a wise guy.

But on a serious note. I'll open my boxes to let them dry out. I bought a couple of the plano boxes that are all holy for my crankbaits

I have those and they work well but you can't leave a ton of water in there. Just open it and let it dry after every trip and wipe down your lures.

I punched holes in all my plastic boxes with an ice pick! Top and bottom. Seems to work.

Two things; silica gel packets and use a small drill bit and drill holes in a few spots. Haven't had a problem since.

Dick's also sells preventilated boxes as well.

+1 for Silica Gel packets. I get them from the gloves we order for work small ones 2-3 in each box and have huge one in the compartment from a mattress. I use the Plano sealed boxes and don't put away wet lures I have small basket in one my compartments that I toss used stuff in then pick through when I clean the boat up and put them away where they belong.
