7/20/2014 best day this year at Lake X

Started at 5:30 a.m. we fished until 11:00 a.m.Air temp.60,water temp.76.9 with light e,n.e. wind.Caught about 13 or 14 fish with a lot of good ones.Biggest weigh in at 4.13 and 4.14.Next biggest was 3.14.Scale set at pounds and ounces.We
only caught 2 smaller fish at about 1.5 the rest were 2.5 to 3.5 pounds.After 10 the bite seemed to come to a halt.Pretty sure our best 5 would have been 20 to 21 pounds.A day to remember for sure.I wish we weighed and took pics of all of them.

Nice day. I noticed the bite died for me around 10 today too. I wonder if that was the sun popping out or some weird lunar stuff that I don't understand.

I got my big one on a spinner bait.Scott got his on a jig.Others caught on jigs senkos and spinnerbaits.I did miss one that swiped at my 5 inch chigger craw,running off the edge of the pads.
