I'm warning you--these are stupid questions. Feel free to laugh at my expense. Or someone, please, post your stupid questions too. (Someone has to be as clueless as I am, right....?)
1) What exactly is a "lunker"?
I was looking at the kayak tournament posting, and wondering why the lunker was what it was. I thought it was just a big fish-- so why isn't the lunker the biggest fish?
2) Is a "larry" a largemouth bass? It is, right?
3) How do you avoid getting your hooks/lines/lures hopelessly snagged on trees, rocks, bushes, friends, the Loch Ness Monster, the mysterious extra-dimensional hole that seems to always be 6-15 meters off shore?
Also are you canadian/euro or just spent too much time in the scientific community. I don't think I've ever seen any one refer to meters fishing before. Although maybe more people do than I think, I was using newtons figuring out casting forces last night and I have no science degree.
