JUST RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THE TOWN.IT STATES THAT WE CANNOT ARRIVE BEFORE 6:30 A.M.RESIDENTS HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING.THEY WILL ALSO CHARGE A LAUNCH AND PARKING FEE OF $6 FOR INSTATE AND $12 FOR OUT OF STATE.THEREFORE WE WILL NOT LAUNCH UNTIL 7:30 A.M.THIS WILL GIVE EVERYONE TIME TO CHECK IN AND GET IN THE WATER.WE WILL EXTEND WEIGH IN TIME TO 2:30 0R 3.KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN YOU SIGN UP BECAUSE THE POLICE WILL BE NOTIFIED AND FUTURE PERMIT APPS WILL BE REJECTED IF THERE IS A PROBLEM.WE MUST STAY IN GOOD STANDINGS WITH THE TOWNS IF WE WANT TO RETURN AND FISH AGAIN.THANKS.
They'll have the welcoming committee out there, I'm sure you remember a few years back when we fished this event in a Monsoon, the little old lady was out there with a tent set up collecting parking fees, lol the good old days. I may make an appearance on Sunday at Sabattia if anyone wants autographs. See you soon bud
