i can see it getting fish fired up if you're around schooling bass and bait. those would be good conditions to test it out.

I think you missed the point. The idea is for it to sound like baitfish when there are none. If there are already baitfish and bass around why do you need to make baitfish sounds?

I wonder what P.T. Barnum would say about the hydrowave if he was a fisherman?

well if you're using it when you're not around bait, you're also probably not around bass either. so you probably want to be around both in general for it to be very useful.

and also just because there are bass and bait hanging around each other it doesn't mean the bass are feeding. this is where the hydrowave can come into play to "ignite the school."

plus according to hydrowave, it's not just the sound: "You must have all the ingredients – pressure, vibration and sound – combined in the right frequency to stimulate a feeding response."

so this should ignite that inactive school and make the "predatory fish" active.

Doug,
You kindin' me! I'd be out there in a flash, if I could get some time off from work! Oh, yes the ice SUCKS out here, thanks!

Hydrowave? IDK, maybe its just like you favorite lure? If you have confidence in it you'll catch fish!
