Fresh Pond in Cambridge...

Anyone know if you can fish from the shore or even fish at all there? I work in the Waltham/Belmont area and it's 5 min from one of the houses I tend too. I'm finishing up work early but stay on call until 8a. I have to stay close and want to try a new place. I tried Spy pond and the Charles with mixed luck. Any ideas on where to go and tips on fishing it are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Thanks. I ended up at Spy again. Found a nice quiet spot no one was at. Lost a pretty big one. Been on a bad streak my last 3 times out anywhere. Gotta get back at it though.

You can't even step on the shoreline. This pond is surrounded by 9 foot tall barbed wire. No doubt, there are monsters live in there.

Your not alone shore fishing has sucked lately last 3 times out biggest I managed was a 2lber.

Thanks for the heads up everyone. I usually just google map a spot and look it up online but that place had no info on it. Didn't want to head over and have what you guys are telling me happen lol..... I hear ya badlarry! I'm hoping to be out on the water all weekend and end the spell.
