Here's a great fairly new resource for the Shimano reel maintenance enthusiast.

just placed an order for a friction ring and bearings for my Sahara 4000FD through replacementparts.com. Prices were good, they shipped me 2 bearings instead of the ring and the bearing. Called them and they told me to keep the extra bearing and they are shipping me the friction ring. NIce to see companies taking responsibility for their mistakes and making things right!

Direct from Shimano prices are more than 50% less than some of the 'specialty' shops that are reselling certain components, drag washers included. For bearings, I go elsewhere for Lightning Abec Ceramics.
