broodstock

did they stock the salmon yet?

any reports on how many?

The stocking should be complete by now. As stated in the other post the story is not many fish and not much for size. They usually only put a dozen or so in each pond anyway.

i read on the water reports. they said the state is stocking 1000lbs of fish this year 3-8 lbs i believe. with some bigger ones

Heard from MA F&W they should start stocking next week, depending on district. Also was told this will be the last good year of # salmon due to the 2 VT hatcheries being damaged/decision made to pull the plug on the CT River restoration...

hmmm i dont think ive ever caught a brown trout. only rainbows and brookies
hitting the water sunday or monday. stickbaits spoons and shiners.
