Hey guys! Me and some friends are heading to pittsfeild for some weekend camping. I was hopping that someone here would know of any good fishing spots in the area. Just straight up shore fishing nothing special. I got the gear to fish anything as long as I can walk to it. So any tips or places would greatly be appreciated, thanks.

Try onota lake, or pontoosuc lake in pittsfield.

i live right near onota. its good if you have a boat..any shore fishing is terrible. pontoosuc is a better choice though

an even better choice is Cheshire lake..its not to far from pittsfield and its loaded with good cover that monster bass love to hide in. not to mention crappie and massive gills. you might even hook into a pike

Flymaster the Deerfield river up in Zoar holds trout. It isfed by a dam and the releases are on a schedule. Be careful because you don't want to be caught when that happens.
