What's a good gate to fish from at Wachusett Resevoir?
I just restarted fishing and want to take my grandson to Wachusett. I used to fish at the Rt. 12 bridge in my younger days but never caught anything. My biggest bass was a 9 pounder in Westminster.

The church is good fishing. I've been there before it can get lil crowded tho. Alot of the gates are a ggod walk into the woods an that can be tough with gear and all. Couple that we went down into ended up being reall shallow areas of water too. If its windy it can be tough as well. Good luck Smile

For our first trip I decided on parking at gate 25 and walking South.
I don't mind doing a lot of walking. I pack light and use a backpack.
Our first trip will be April 11th.
