welcome to a new season 2009

looks like the site is starting to wake from a long winters nap. anyone catching any fish yet? i've been out twice two weeks ago i went to the swift river for about 3 hours spotted some trout but got skunked. but it felt good to get out anyway.last weekend i play at paradise pond to see if the fish are waking up yet came back empty again but again it just nice to get back on the water. hope some of you are having better luck catching.

Went out last Wed with Popo in his yaks. Got a largemouth about 2lbs for my first fish of the year and two pickerrals to round out the day.

I got my first Bass of 2009 last friday, but its still pretty slow overall.

I caught a few dinks and pickeral but caught a 2.5 pounder on a jig a few days ago. Still high from it.

Thanks for the welcome. I almost bought an inflatable kayak. The whole idea sounds cool. But my wife talked me into an inflatable boat so she can come with me. It's over 10' and uses oars. I can't wait to get it on Whitmanville Reservoir.

Looks pretty cool!!! dont forget to get an anchor cus if its windy you will be all over the place.

went for the first time sunday 4.5, Pulled a chain pick. Cant wait for the warmer weather.
