Stopped by the reservoir today to see how the weeds are doing. Even though the water gets to be around ten feet deep, the weeds are within 3 feet of the surface. Plus a good section is covered with lily pads.
But, there are some big carp feeding around the pads. I spotted a few that look to be in the two foot range. Carp fishing is not my particular thing so I figured I'ld pass the word on to those who do fish for them.
Look to the lily pads at the left side of the pond.
