Wanted: Bow Mount Trolling Motor.

I'm looking to replace the old evinrude bow mount setup on my bassboat. Before I head out and buy something brand new I figured I would see if anyone has one they are looking to get rid of.

I found a 45lb minn kota edge setup at bass pro for $360. I don't know how a 45lb would hold with a 15ft fiberglass bass boat. I could go with the 55lb but that runs about 500. Then again with a 10% military discount im looking at $450. So that might be doable.

I'm running a 46# Motorguide on a 17 foot Tracker aluminum with a 50 horse 2-stroke, and it struggles when the wind really kicks up. Not sure how heavy your boat would be in comparison, but I am going for the beefiest 12v I can find when it's time to replace.

Maybe I should go for something bigger then 45lbs..
