The only lunker I caught this year was a son and thanks to him I was only able to get out once this year. Caught one small largie. Definitely not braggin material.
Got out yesterday after class and caught 3 nice rainbows on a rooster tail. Saw a big brown cruising the shoreline, but he wouldn't hit anything I threw at him, so I'll be going back soon to try and get him.
Went back to that same spot today, and I finally caught that huge brown trout that I have seen cruising the shoreline. He measured 21 inches and weighed 4lbs 2oz, my personal best brown trout. He was released alive and well.
