Great times. I uploaded the pic, but uploaded upside down. Trying to figure out how to rotate it, but at least it's up there.

First smallie & nice 4lber. I wish that one sally didn't away. I saw that thing jump out of the water a few times and it was a NICE fish!

Nice work guys.

Where at the Sud are you guys having success? Over by 911 field? Off of rt 85? Parameter Rd?

I work over by there and I'm hoping I can get out tomorrow after work if the weather (and my wife) cooperate Smile

The reservoir is pretty crazy now since they're doing dam work and lowered the water level so much. You can walk along the shore and fish in places you were never able to reach before.

Off parmenter you can now walk right across, what used to be that creek channel, to other side and fish all along the opposite shore. I caught a bunch of nice lmb over there a few weeks ago off that point a ways down.

I don't know what you guys are doing, but I was out off 911 (walked the entire shoreline from the way out peninsula and back around to the cove) for 4 hours last Saturday morning and only caught 3 fish; a rather large pic, a small lmb and sunfish. Pretty much got skunked given how long I was there and how many senkos I wasted. Smile

The amount of bass on their beds though was insane. If I just had a net I would have easily caught 100 little baitfish size bass.

The only downside to the water level is there are a lot of shallow areas that used to have great cover and/or drop-off spots that are now bone dry. Although the rain the last few weeks has brought the water level back up a foot or so in some spots.

Anyone know when the dam work is going to be done? I know they said 8 weeks back in April?

Thanks for the info taez555.

I tried Sud back in the beginning of April and didn't have much luck.

But like you said I could walk all over the place to areas that I've never seen let alone been to before. It's actually really cool. Back then it was pretty muddy so it was hard to fish in certain areas without losing a shoe.

It sounds like it's pretty productive now though.

Ha!! I actually lost my shoes in the mud in April. Smile

I was heading in after a couple hours and while crossing this point off parmenter didn't look where I was walking and suddenly sank all the way down to my knees in the mud. Lost both shoes in the muck and had to fish them out of the mud and walk back to the car in my muddy socks.

Smile

Hey guys, I have found that over by 911 field was not as productive as it looked like it could be, off of parmenter road was pretty good to me(got lmb just shy of 6lbs last weekend and a few in the 1-3 lb range as well as several picks). Off of 85 is pretty good as well, nothing of sunstantial size, but still productive. I think its just a matter of what time you go.

The bite started out slow for us then heated up, then slow, then hot and you get the picture.

It's a matter of time before someone pulls a serious lunker out of there.
