Weather wasn't the greatest this weekend but i see a lot guys were out on the water.
This isn't final and please correct me if I'm wrong.

1. Biggest largemouth - stratos 5.8 lb
2. Biggest smallie - bassturds 2.8 lb
3. Misc division - Blackstone carp 20.3 33"

If everyone agrees I'll get info for prizes

Nice job guys, I thought Jeff was winning again for a minute!
Definitely a good entry tho!

I noticed guys didn't submit pics with scale. i don't care because everyone of you seem honest and especially weighing with net and deducting the net is great sportsmanship.
I will go with majority opinion and send prizes to winners as discussed.

Lol speaking of honest!..it was 20lb 3oz. If i said 8 I apologize, it was deffo 3oz.

I didn't even think about the pic with scale as I normally weigh then photo over the mat.

I use a weigh sling that weighs roughly 2 pounds, however my scale is always tared to it so that the scale reads 0.0 with only the bag.

If anyone wants a scale pic..then i'll go catch another 20 quick and take one with the scale this time Wink

Was fun and some great fish across the board. We really should do some of these from time to time..perhaps a couple of us can jump in to sponsor them once a season or month or something.

I am really happy this seemed to go off perfect for all!
if this results dont get challenged by tom. I will need the winners addresses and choice of lure/color.
Go to www.boaghogbaits.com and pick a lead free product i make please.
i would love to have more of these and see everyone involved for fun. It's cool to go fun fishing with a small challenge behind it. Especially if it doesn't cost anything Very Happy .
I also agree with Blackstone that others can step in and sponsor a challenge of their own Cool .
I'll try and be creative and think of another for mid season or something.
Thanks guys,This was awesome and i didn't even fish!

This was a fun and ARROGANT challenge Jay...thanks for putting this together! I'm sure the winners will enjoy their new baits...that was a nice gesture Jay.

I have next week off and I know that I will be able to put in sometime on the water so I may open up another challenge at the end of this week...stay tuned.

Congrats to all the guys and gals that boated/shored some nice fish!

yeah i agree this was an awsome idea and i had great fun being out trophy hunting with a purpose all weekend regardless of the craptastic weather i still had a few major bites but after such a long wait leading up to them i wasnt ready for the task when the time came lol (ask muskie haha) i would love to see another one soon though cause i think everyone is really at their best when there is a little competition behind it and it forces people to bring their A-game . blackstone those are some beautiful carp you got there lol, i had planned on hunting mostly carp this weekend but im a novice when it comes to carp and i knew you would have me blown away haha but i was still happy with my almost 8lber atleast i got on the board. muskie got me into carp fishing and now forgive the pun but im hooked, id love to go with you some time and try to hone my carp skills so i can be more consistant with hooking them as i currently have landed 3 of the 6 carp bites ive ever gotten. great fish that everyone entered and congrats to all the winners. lets do this again soon!

Great idea and lots of fun. I would have fished anyway and it was just a little added incentive. Whether there are prizes or not, bragging rights are always nice. Good job everyone and tight lines!

sounds cool to me Smile muskie gave me my beginner carp knowledge (he dosent give too much away lol) then i read up extensively on the subject so i have my own ideas as to what works and i have a little bit of experiance but i would love to learn more from you guys so i can actually have more experiance and possibilities of catching a nice carp in the teens or 20 lb range , my current biggest is only 11 lbs and man did she fight so i can only imagine hooking into one of your 20 lbers lol.
