Early Cape Day First Time At This Pond
Got to pond in the town of mashpee at about 445 started throwing jig right off the bat, went up to these things that ended up being water circulaters first cast right next to the machine and hooked into a nice chunky 3 pounder with a big herring in its mouth I have pictures . Next we move to the herring run and start casting jigs at weed lines a few two pounders and one or two three pounders later I hooked into a nice 4.5 pound LM green 1/2 oz jig wearing a green paca chunk after that I got a couple more as well as my fishing partner this is all before 930 am after that I got a slime dart that was 4 even on the scale and the bite turned off home already satisfied with the day
